Israel has postponed the recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

1in.am  The Israeli parliament has exhausted its powers and will be dissolved on July 17. Parliamentary elections will take place on October 27, after which a new government will be formed. Until then, the current coalition government will only carry out ongoing powers. An exception is made for emergencies, during which the Prime Minister will be authorized to make decisions regarding the organization of the country's defense.

 

The resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide, as expected, is not included in the agenda of the latest sessions of the Israeli parliament. What kind of government will be formed in Israel depends not only on the sympathies or antipathies of the citizens of that country. The issue is the sharp competition between Israel and Turkey, which undoubtedly also affects the Armenian-Azerbaijani and Armenian-Turkish settlements.
